ACTIVITY

Pre mixed peptide pens are a much more convenient way of administering your peptides than using a vial and syringe. They come with a pen case and pre-filled cartridges that are ready to use. The pens have a dosage dial so you can precisely set your desired dose. They are also portable and easy to store. They can be topped up with extra single cartridges for more precise dosing.

The first peptide therapeutic was insulin,1 which was introduced more than 100 years ago and targeted diabetes mellitus. Since then, many other peptide drugs have been developed for various conditions such as migraine, dry eye, and cardiovascular diseases.

These peptides are generally administered subcutaneously (under the skin). The most common delivery device is an insulin pen. These pens have prefilled cartridges that contain your chosen peptide and a dosage dial. The pens can be topped up with additional cartridges of your choice to allow for more precise dosing.

A recent study found that the peptide mPEN (also known as BPC-157, proSAAS, or hydrogenated leucine) binds and activates G protein–coupled receptor 83, a member of the GPR family. In hypothalamic membranes from WT and GPR83 knockout mice, mPEN significantly reduced spontaneous excitatory postsynaptic current sEPSC amplitudes. This reduction was dependent on mPEN binding to GPR83 and occurred by a mechanism that involved agonist-dependent internalization of the receptor followed by autocatalytic activation of the GTPase and reassociation with its guanine nucleotide-binding protein subunits.peptides for sale
